Presentation of candidates for the International Rice Festival Queen. A special demonstration of Old Time Rice threshing is held on the grounds of The Baptists Church on Saturday afternoon. The 5K Fun Run, Acadian Accordion Contest, Fiddle Contest, Rice Poker Run and Car Show all take place Saturday morning. Music continues in the afternoon with bands on 2 Stages. In the midst of all of this, the Grandest of All Parades, The Grand Parade.
