Hello everyone and welcome to the 75th
International Rice Festival’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration. What a
milestone this festival has reached in celebrating the commitment
and dedication of our rice farmers and the rice industry. We take
this time every year to honor our hard working farmers whose
dedication to the rice industry is celebrated at this time of year.
The rice industry has supported our community for many years. As a
volunteer for the festival for over 30 years, and now serving as
your president, I will continue to promote and work for this
